This is a comprehensive list of all our new miniature league events going on starting 3/1/21.  All events are $10 spread over 8 weeks with each round being 2 weeks to allow players to plan with their opponents and play in multiple leagues.  Breakdowns of each tournament are listed below and so are links to each ticket. Star Wars Legion - Operation Blue Metal Ticket Link - https://sbgame.net/products/star-wars-legion-blue-metal-operation-3-1-21-ticket?_pos=1&_psq=blue%20metal&_ss=e&_v=1.0 Rules Link - https://images-cdn.fantasyflightgames.com/filer_public/8e/53/8e538f03-c146-44c2-8e77-cf07309c6d8c/swl_blue_metal_eo.pdf Star Wars Armada  Ticket Link - https://sbgame.net/products/star-wars-armada-league-ticket?_pos=3&_sid=bdc79b20b&_ss=r Entry Fee: $10 Relaxed Level Play (have a good time and mistakes happen!) Tournaments at this level are welcoming to all players, regardless of experience level. Players are encouraged to help each other improve and learn, so long as it does not significantly disrupt the game. The focus is on creating a fun and friendly environment.Margin of Victory At the end of each game, the winning player subtracts the loser’s score from his or her score. This is the winner’s Margin of Victory (“MoV”) for the round. If this would result in a negative number, the winner’s Margin of Victory is 0. If this would result in a number larger than 400, the winner’s Margin of Victory is 400. The losing player receives a Margin of Victory of 0. If both players destroy their opponent’s fleet, each player receives a Margin of Victory of 0. When a player receives a bye, he or she receives a Margin of Victory of 140. End of game example: Bradley wins the game, destroying his opponent’s entire fleet (400 fleet points). Bradley’s opponent, Cara, has destroyed 150 points of Bradley’s ships and earned 75 points from the objective Intel Sweeps for a total score of 225. Bradley wins by 175 points and earns 8 tournament points and a Margin of Victory of 175. Cara earns 3 points and receives aMargin of Victory of 0. League Points Players earn tournament points at the end of each round. At the end of a tournament, the player with the most tournament points wins the tournament. In the case of a larger event, they are instead used to determine who makes the cut to elimination rounds. Players earn tournament points at the end of each round as follows: Week 1 (150 pts)  Margin of Victory Win Loss 0 - 22 6 5 23 - 52 7 4 53 - 82 8 3 83 - 112 9 2 113 - 150 10 1   Week 2 (225 pts)  Margin of Victory Win Loss 0 - 33 6 5 34 - 79 7 4 80 - 123 8 3 124 - 168 9 2 169 - 225 10 1   Week 3 (300 pts)  Margin of Victory Win Loss 0 - 42 6 5 43 - 105 7 4 106 - 165 8 3 166 - 225 9 2 226 - 300 10 1   Week 4 (400 pts)  Margin of Victory Win Loss 0 - 59 6 5 60 - 139 7 4 140 - 219 8 3 220 - 299 9 2 300 - 400 10 1   League Progression The League will be played over the course of 4 rounds, with postings being in the Swords & Boards Community Page and you will have the entire week to meet up with your opponent at your convenience.  Points will be accumulated as you progress through the league, no participation for the week means you forfeit any points for the week.  The Player with the most points at the end of the league will be declared the winner!  All participants will receive Organized Play prizes.
